About Jack’s Place
Dog Boarding for Seniors
Our story, In Loving Memory of Jack
In June 2020, we said goodbye to our wonderful Labrador, Jack, after 12½ happy years together. He brought laughter, muddy pawprints, and endless affection into our lives. Even as he grew older and developed health issues, Jack’s joy never faded.
Losing him left a space in our hearts but it also gave us a purpose. We wanted to create a place that honoured his spirit; somewhere other senior dogs could feel safe, cherished, and at peace while their owners are away. That’s how Jack’s Place Dog Boarding for Seniors came to life.
Understanding Older Dogs because we’ve been there too
As dogs age, they need a little extra understanding. They move more slowly, sleep a bit longer, and sometimes become anxious with change. We get it because we’ve lived it.
That’s why our approach is gentle, patient, and personal. We make sure your dog’s routines, favourite comforts, and quirks are understood and respected. We listen carefully to what they need and to what you need as their owner.
Every guest is unique, and we adapt our care to fit them perfectly. Whether that means medication schedules, shorter walks, or simply more cuddles, we’ll make sure your dog feels loved and secure throughout their stay.

Our Promise to You
We only ever welcome one household at a time, because your dog deserves our full attention.
We are fully licensed and insured, and all our associates are experienced senior dog carers, first aid trained, and approved by local councils.
Most importantly, we all share the same heartfelt belief — that older dogs deserve dignity, comfort, and love in every moment.
A Caring Community for Senior Dogs
Jack’s Place has grown into more than just a boarding service. It’s a community built on love, compassion, and understanding. Every day, we’re reminded how special senior dogs are, and how rewarding it is to give them the care they need.
If you’d like to find out more about how we can help your beloved pet, or if you’re interested in joining our team of associates, we’d love to hear from you.
